2009 marks the 20th anniversary of the Bioneers Conference, the premiere sustainability “Thought Leadership” forum on environmental and social justice issues, as well as positive scientific and cultural innovations inspired by nature and human ingenuity.
This year’s speakers include Andrew Weil, MD, Michael Pollan (Author of The Omnivore’’s Dilemma, In Defense of Food and featured in the film Food, Inc.), Annie Leonard (Creator of The Story of Stuff), and many others.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Marin Civic Center in San Rafael, California is hosting the event from October 16-18th. The conference will also be simulcast to 18 Satellite Beamer Locations.
