Meeting in Seoul for the ICLEI World Congress 2015, the mayors of 36 major cities signed ICLEI’s new Compact of Mayors pledged to take greater action to mitigate and adapt to climate change. The new compact, and the launch of ICLEI’s Transformative Actions Program, takes on added significance as governments around the world prepare for the UNFCCC’s 2015 Climate Conference in Paris.
