Applied Materials Summer Solstice Solar Survey: Chinese, Indians Want More Solar Faster

That’s one of several encouraging responses from Chinese, Indians, Japanese and Americans who took Applied Materials’ fourth annual solar energy survey. Others: Industry data show that solar will be cost-competitive with conventional fossil fuel-derived electrical power this year, and Chinese and Indians want more solar faster than current government targets.
