Mayors’ Pledge to Make “Drastic” CO2 Emissions Cuts Highlight of EU Sustainable Energy Week

Around 400 EU mayors have pledged to take actions that will result in “drastic” reductions in their cities CO2 emissions, one of the highlights of the third annual EU Sustainable Energy Week. Awards are being handed out to outstanding and innovative programs and associated events are taking place across the 27-nation European Union.
