2005 – A Banner Year for Carbon Emissions

A recent report from the Earth Policy reports that in 2005 7.9 billion tons of CO2 was released into the atmosphere due to the burning of fossil fuels, hitting a new record and represented a 3% increase from the previous year. The increase remains steady and unabated. Read the full report here.
