Sir David Attenborough: Growth, Population, and the Planet

Presenting the 2011 President’s Lecture of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (RSA), naturalist Sir David Attenborough speaks eloquently on the realities of biodiversity loss and the strains of unsustainable population and economic growth on the natural systems that underpin all life and human endeavor. This video was suggested by a colleague commenting on my recent essay Redefining prosperity and the fallacy of growth. Attenborough is an inspired thinker and speaker, this video is well worth watching.
