Global Warming vs. Climate Change – Which is It?

The latest video from Greenman3610 (a.k.a Peter Sinclair) on the true nature of the difference between “climate change” and “global warming.”

It has become a central tenet of climate change (global warming) denial that “the left” has “changed the name” of global warming to climate change because the earth has been cooling for the past decade. Only problem is, the left didn’t and the earth hasn’t.

  1. The term ‘climate change’ was invented by Frank Luntz. It
has no scientific validity and is an absurd term because in fact,
the climate is always changing. So when you use the term you are
    saying nothing.

  2. “climate change”is a whole lot easier to sell than “global warming” people when they are standing in ice and snow frezing their cans off I moved down south to get away from this I’m originally from Buffalo, NY and I have no desire to ever go back there and I really have an issue with this cold coming to find me and it makes me really hate Al Gore when I’m freezing my keester off

    • You’re absolutely right. Which is why “climate change” is actually the better term, though despite folks freezing their keester in the southeast, average global temperature in both the atmosphere and oceans are trending higher.
Some scientists I’ve worked with have said that “global climate disruption” is the best term – but that would create even more rancor I suppose.
Regarding Al Gore, I look forward to a time when this issue can be divorced from his name. Perhaps that day will never come.
      Thanks for the comment.
