Video Friday: World Water Week – Cooperation for Water Access

2013 International Year of Water Cooperation

Cooperation is key to effectively managing the challenge of securing safe and sustainable access to clean water for the global community. Cooperation between public and private organizations bring together the strengths and expertise of business, policymakers, scientists and community organizers that make possible real solutions.

September 1st through 6th is World Water Week in Stockholm. I will be there working with the PepsiCo Foundation and their partners to help tell the story of how these ongoing partnerships are working in watersheds and communities in both the developed and developing world, helping to insure the basic human right of access to safe and clean water.

The following video, from last year’s World Water Week, outlines a few of these partnerships and the work being done on the ground to help secure access to water for millions of people. Stay tuned in the coming days and weeks for more.
