Fighting Goliath: The Texas Coal Wars

Fighting Goliath: Texas Coal WarsFaced with the prospect TXU Energy seeking approval for 18 new coal-fired power plants on the fast track, the farmers and ranchers of small rural communities across Texas stood up to the Goliath of a Texas-sized energy developer and an acquiescing state government. And win.

Fighting Goliath: The Texas Coal Wars tells the story. The film was produced by the Redford Center at the Sundance Preserve and Alpheus Media, and directed by Mat Hames and George Sledge.

A documentary worth watching, and you can do it here.
