Still a Bit of a Skeptic?

Let’s say you’re the leader of a powerful nation. You’re highly industrialized and are an economic powerhouse. You also consume the largest share per capita of the world’s resources and release the largest amount of greenhouse gasses.
Let’s say that, as the leader of this powerful and productive nation, you’re still on the fence about global warming. You need more science. You’re just not sure if really doing anything about it (if it’s really a problem) is necessary. Besides, any global treaty to address the problem is sure to have a devastating impact on your economy.
No, better to sit and wait. You need more evidence before you’ll accept that global warming is real. What could possibly happen?

So how about this, Mr. World Leader?
