Australia Announces Plans to Build World’s Largest Solar Power Plant

Nonetheless, many suspect the motives of such an announcement ahead of upcoming elections in Australia.
The Australian Conservation Foundation says that the power plant would be only a small step in curbing greenhouse gas emissions. Australia and the United States are the only two industrialized nations that have refused to sign the controversial Kyoto Protocol.
